In a telephone interview, the doc was kind enough to tell us part of his extraordinary story, and in particular that of his pseudonym, which has stuck with him to this day: “His given first name is Don, the nickname made sense to his friends and associates apparently. Dr. Don thought it had a pretty good ring to it, and decided to proceed with this pseudonym instead of 1 or 2 other close runners-up” he tells us before going on to talk about the creative aspect of his character: “Dr. Don was inspired to write lyrics and create songs because he is a creative person who likes there to be no boundaries hindering whatever direction he decides to go.
