In our interview, Max Roxton tells us the fascinating story told by this new single: “We’ve all been there! We are afraid of rejection, of not being loved or belonging… We are the eternal outsiders… Lonely… Insecure… Confused… Fearfull… Consumed by Pain… Desperately longing to belong… Blunting ourselves and falling into apathy… Day in, day out, we strive to let NO ONE see these emotions and go through life wearing a mask of compensation/false self-protection. Unable to be true to ourselves and our emotions, we show the world a version of ourselves that we think we have to portray, losing ourselves more and more in superficiality and unlearning what it means to build REAL connections. Our humanity, fallibility, vulnerability and ability to learn and forgive are the most essential things that unites us all! Shouldn’t we all be much more honest with ourselves and show ourselves WITH all these emotions, stand by them and TALK about them!
