Now retired, the 2.16m ex-NBA star is back in the rap game, and it’s a big one!
Shaquille O’neal is back. Not on the parquets, but rather behind a microphone. The 2m 16 colossus has signed his musical comeback this 1ᵉʳ September 2023 by teaming up with Los Angeles band Coyote for the track “3 Lokos”. We tell you more about this collab.

Shaq returns to his passion
Indeed, Shaquille has always been a lover of music and rap in particular. In 1993 he released his first album ” Shaq Diesel ” which went platinum in just one year after selling over 1 million copies. In 1994, he had released his second project ” Shaq-Fu : Da Return “. After that album, he put music on hold for 22 years before returning in 2016 with the track ” My Squads Lit “. He also officiates as a DJ and enjoys great popularity in the field. While no one expected it, Shaquille teamed up with the duo Coyote (made up of Ladies Lve Guapo and Ricky Blanco ” for the track ” 3 Lokos “. In an interview with TMZ, the duo shared that O’Neal was a fan of their work and that they have a friendly relationship. After sending him the instrumental, the former basketball player sent them his verse in just 4 hours. It has to be said that his verse is highly technical and he showed great lyrical power. On the visual side, Shaquille even travelled to Los Angeles to shoot some of the video alongside the other two rappers. Here too, Shaq makes his mark on the screen.
Shaquille O’neal’s breakfast revealed
Shaquille O’neal is a man who measures 2M16 for 136 Kg. This stature requires a specific diet. In fact, that’s what Tracy Humphrey of 11Alive revealed at the beginning of September. According to the latter, Shaquille starts his day by swallowing a plate filled to the brim with pancakes and then an omelette made with six egg whites, organic free-range chicken sausages, kale, peppers and various seasonings.
Also, it’s worth pointing out that Blanco of the band Coyote has revealed that he has recorded a second track with Shaquille. That track should be rocking soon. So stay tuned.
