Ambitious yet grounded, Patrick Artigues turns his sleepless thoughts into delicate poetry with “Don’t Wake Me Up,” an Indie Folk interlude where the acoustic guitar breathes and his voice settles in like a secret whispered to the night. The song paints the portrait of a lucid dreamer, worn down by routine and the quiet exhaustion of an overcrowded daily life, choosing sleep as his final escape. Between urban observation and soft solitude, he repeats like a fragile prayer, “Don’t wake me up. I might still erupt”, refusing to let go of his vision of stardom. Produced by Robin Buyer, the track embraces stripped-down instrumentation that leaves room for raw emotion. The music video, directed by Aaron Artigues with the team at ARTiGUESS Productions in New Orleans, features an artistic, slightly offbeat aesthetic touched with humor: a sequence of dynamic, lighthearted shots reflecting the almost theatrical effort it takes to keep dreaming big. A visual invitation full of movement and charm, now showcased by Slash Music.

The Dawn of a New Chapter
Independent singer-songwriter, Patrick Artigues steadily carves his path with sincerity and sensitivity. On his YouTube channel, he shares live excerpts, heartfelt performances, and carefully chosen covers, revealing rare authenticity and a universe built with passion. Behind his work is ARTiGUESS, a production company created by the three brothers Patrick, Aaron, and Sean Artigues. Fueled by Patrick’s songwriting and musical talent and supported by the thoughtful enthusiasm of his brothers, the company was founded by Sean, a self-taught recording and mixing engineer, to encourage Patrick to resume writing music after putting his ambitions on hold. Aaron later joined as social media director and videographer. ARTiGUESS represents the Artigues brothers’ attempt to become creators in a world of consumers.
Patrick’s debut project, the EP “Standing At the Door,” releasing March 17, 2026, features a mix of original songs from his earliest writing attempts between 2012 and 2015 alongside brand-new tracks, including one composed just hours before his flight to New York to record the project. A survivor of human trafficking and adolescent sexual assault, Patrick reclaims control of his life through music and seeks to change the narrative for all survivors. As he reminds us, “Keep faith for it is only in darkness that we discover the light we desperately longed for was within us all along”. The year 2026 has only just begun, and already, Patrick Artigues’ world promises to shine new light, keep an ear open for his next creative steps.
