Steel clashing, shadows stretching, Sangriento returns with an epic symphonic anthem, and this one cuts deep. “Echelon”, the track from their upcoming album “Blood Moon”, is a fiery call to arms against fear itself. Over a storm of soaring strings and searing guitars, Candice’s vocals rise like a battle cry, echoing the song’s defiant refrain: “Raise your blades, launch into the light, let the blaze purify your shields and triumph be our fire”. The music video, directed by Nic, amplifies the intensity, blades slicing through darkness, warriors locked in elegant yet deadly combat, interspersed with shadow-drenched shots of the band summoning the storm with their instruments. This is Sangriento at their sharpest, and Slash Music is here to bear witness.

Blood Moon: A symphony of shadows
With “Blood Moon”, Sangriento plunges deeper into their signature fusion of symphonic metal and neoclassical grandeur. The album delivers eleven tracks of sheer intensity, where ethereal orchestrations clash with thunderous riffs and haunting melodies. Songs like “Empire”, “Destiny”, and “Dispossession” showcase their mastery of storytelling through sound, each track weaving a narrative of power, loss, and rebirth. And the fire doesn’t stop here, their second album is set to release on March 29th 2025, with a grand launch show on April 5th, promising another immersive experience complete with a companion comic book.
Forged in Fire, Rising to the Stars
Formed in Singapore, Sangriento has carved a path through the underground scene with their unique blend of modern rock and experimental metal. Originally an X Japan tribute act in 2010, they evolved into an unstoppable creative force, blending Eastern and Western influences into their sound. The band consists of Han (guitar), Nic (bass), Rayne (keys and digital arrangements), Christal (drums), and Candice (vocals). Over the years, they’ve earned their stripes—emerging as national champions of Yamaha Asian Beat Singapore, representing their country in Tokyo, and later being selected as a Baybeats budding band in 2018.

Their journey first took a major turn with “Blood Pact” (2019), an album that not only solidified their place in the symphonic metal scene but also introduced a unique storytelling approach through music and visuals. Featuring tracks like “Legion”, “Blood and Victory” and “Bigger World”, it set the stage for their evolution into the powerhouse they are today. If 2025 has just begun, keep your eyes on Sangriento, the battle is far from over.
