There are songs that move like pathfinders, eyes forward and backbone straight. “THAT GIRL” by BOLD, carried by the magnetic voice of Soom T, stands as a manifesto of inner emancipation. The track sketches the portrait of a woman who holds her ground, rises when everything tries to bend her, and refuses to obey what lacks fairness. Driven by a subtle blend of Reggae and Dub, the song invites listeners to take back control of their own minds, to break invisible chains, and to stay true to their inner compass. The line “Don’t let them keep your mind locked down, rise like a sound in the silence” acts as a wake-up call—simple, sharp, and powerful. The 3D animated video directed by Vincent Delpech, filled with pastel colors and surreal energy, flows perfectly with the rhythm and draws viewers into a hypnotic visual journey. A coherent and deeply felt artistic statement, thoughtfully presented by Slash Music.

BOLD, a living laboratory with the future in sight
Behind BOLD stand two seasoned craftsmen: High Ku from Chinese Man and Supa-Jay of Scratch Bandits Crew. Since their creative meeting in 2021, the duo has been shaping an alternative sound fueled by forgotten samples, finely cut melodies, and a strong sense of composition. Their debut album “BOLD”, released in January 2022 on Chinese Man Records, laid the foundations of a universe where old-school hip-hop converses with trip-hop, never standing still. Today, the project is picking up speed. A new chapter is unfolding with a second album expected in March 2026, alongside the creation of a brand-new live show with MC Youthstar, conceived as a stage extension of their sonic world. Live videos are already available on their YouTube channel, hinting at a collective energy on the rise. As 2026 has barely begun, one thing is clear: BOLD is moving forward, and the next steps are well worth watching.
