With “Went Legit”, BRUCE LII turns his long hours on the road into a confession of truth. Inspired by G Herbo’s viral track of the same name, he delivers a Hip Hop rap piece where sincerity outweighs flashiness: “Keeping the devil all on hold, life been testing my faith all in my soul, but I’m still praying keeping all in control”. His voice, calm yet determined, glides over beats shaped by his love of 80s samples and R&B tones, while the production lets every word breathe. The video, directed by MARCOLOCOSFILMS, captures nighttime energy and brotherhood, tight shots, smooth camera movements, and shared laughter, making you want to hit play and dive into this nocturnal universe where meaning takes the lead. A refined and authentic visual experience that puts emotion at the center of the story, proudly presented by Slash Music.

The journey of a modern “Globe Trotter”
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, BRUCE LII learned early how to merge focus and creativity. As a former Woodland Hills athlete, his sense of discipline shaped his approach to music, where every beat, rhyme, and pause has intention. He grew up absorbing the energy of Meek Mill, G Herbo, DMX, and Jadakiss, artists who turned resilience into art, and he channels that same spirit in his own work. His album “Globe Trotter” reflects four years of crisscrossing America in his 18-wheeler truck, seeing life unfold across highways and borders. Every state became a story, every mile a lyric waiting to be written. That constant motion forged his perspective: learning from pain, celebrating joy, and never losing faith. His latest project, “30 Mixtape”, released on May 20, 2025, offers ten sharp tracks and seven powerful collaborations that showcase his evolution, a blend of raw rap, soulful reflections, and a producer’s ear for texture. But BRUCE LII isn’t slowing down: another mixtape is already planned for the winter, followed by a full album in the second quarter of next year. He’s building a legacy through persistence, art, and authenticity. The road is long, but for BRUCE LII, it’s exactly where greatness begins.
