During an interview with Britain’s OK! magazine , Cher says: “Even if no one listens to it, or buys it, it’s still one of the best albums I’ve ever made and I’m proud of it . ” In this project, the singer wants to be optimistic and offers festive songs: “There are only two sad songs in this album” she says before continuing: “It’s not the Christmas album that Listen to your mother, you know what I mean? I didn’t want to sing ‘Silent Night’ or all the songs that had been sung better by better singers than me . “
