While peacefully browsing YouTube, we came face to face with Scream Brulee‘s brand new “Dum Dum Dum” music video. At first, we were delighted to finally find a good electroswing track, a style of music that’s been rather discreet of late, but so trendy in our opinion. Over a catchy, rhythmic soundtrack inspired by 4 Brothers in the Corridor, the producer came up with some refreshing vocal lines. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the producer from bAIka Studio was able to find the perfect voice to give this track a boost. For the video, it’s the same process, and it’s really quite successful, don’t you think?

When we contacted him, Scream Brulee was initially surprised, almost reluctant, that we were talking about his work: “but it’s AI music and I’m not convinced it fits your content?” the producer from Poland told us over the phone. And with good reason: it’s true that Internet users have become very wary of artificial intelligence, often to a fault (for the record, some readers have already blamed us for using AI to write our articles, something we’ve never done…). But on the contrary, we’re very euphoric about the opportunities that are now opening up for producers thanks to this, and even if some things need to be perfected, the light could well be shone back on producers, the real stars often forgotten by the music industry…
