The artist recounts her heartbreaks with style…
“What inspired me to write this track was my recent heartbreak, it hurt a lot” begins Ben10surf‘s explanation during our telephone interview. And it’s clear from the very first notes of the track. A few piano chords set a sad mood, and before long, Ben10surf‘s soft, airy voice is whispering some intense lyrics into our ears: “Love me, I hope one day you’ll love me…” she sings with emotion. “I had plenty of blue days, and on those days that’s when I started writing Juliet slowly”, Ben10surf continues to explain. Directed by KIL!VISUALS, the clip brings us closer to the story, intensifying its melancholy dimension. Discover it now on Slash Music…
“Love me, I hope one day you’ll love me…”” – Ben10surf
Her heartbreak was just the starting point for writing “JULIET”. Things took a step further when an artistic encounter changed everything… “That was until I looked on YouTube, and found this producer under the name of Jochi. Jochi is my muse, his beats really crave in the intention I have for every song. But, once I heard jochi’s beat that I used for ‘Juliet’ I cried”, says the singer from Indiana, before continuing: “And, then the words just carried themselves to me”. Recorded in a single take, this spontaneous track touched our hearts…

Very soon, Ben10surf will be back with a new release: “I’m hoping to make a more solidified album this time around”. Inspired by Lana del Rey, but also by the emotions that run through her daily life, Ben10surf is an artist of great sensitivity. Like a flower that keeps growing, we can’t wait to see her bloom. Stay tuned, the story continues…
