It’s clear that Getaway Stranger is a project unlike any other. Straight from the mind of Calvin Squire, who at the time needed to put his repressed emotions down on paper, it has a very special ambience. Perhaps GS has found a way to convey his emotions through music, thanks to the unique universe created around his songs.
