Find out all about this project, which subtly blends the Latin American artist’s influences.
The unique name “Doggyton” carries a deeper significance, as DNY explains: ”‘Doggy’ refers to ‘perreo,’ a popular dance style in the Latin market, while ‘reggaeton’ is a genre known for its sensual, grounded, and vibrant rhythms. I’ve created a perreo reggaeton concept that fuses the flavors of 1999 with the sounds of today’s reggaeton”. This intriguing blend of nostalgia and modernity gives us a glimpse into the creative vision behind the project, leaving us eager to discover more!

And indeed, from the very first track, the eponymous single “DOGGYTON”, we dive straight into this mix of influences. A refreshing cocktail that could easily be served in a club. Whether in terms of rhythm or vocal production, DNY takes great care to ensure the quality of his work. Moreover, this conceptual project was not produced on a whim, far from it… “I have been working on this concept for a year. I have made more than 20 tracks but 6 made it to this concept. More to come on different genres and concept styles”, says DNY.
To take the concept even further, the rapper and producer has come up with a crazy visual universe. On Instagram, we spotted a dog in sunglasses living its best life. It’s both funny and impressive at the same time. Our favorite track on this project? “CRYPTONITA”, which combines madness with an interesting dark side. And you, what’s your favorite track from this project?
Last but not least, new videos are currently being finalized… DNY intends to continue defending this extraordinary project. Stick around…
