Donal O’Sullivan is surely the most underrated artist we’ve come across in 2024, and we’re weighing our words. Although there’s no video, from the first notes of his new track “Wedding Bride” we were immediately captivated by his unique voice and writing style. With his enormous talent, Donal O’Sullivan manages to make everything he touches poetic, including this poetic fictional story telling…: “This song represents the loss of all attachments and how that can be turned into a good thing” tells us Donal during our interview. “Take a piece out of my heart now, you can take away my frown now”, is the kind of lyric that charmed us. Visually, all you get is a photo and the lyrics from the clip, but trust us, it’ll do just fine…

A spontaneous artist.
Indeed, Donal O’Sullivan is not the kind of artist who will spend weeks in the studio recording the same verse 100 times. Donal delivers his stories and feelings in music with great spontaneity, and that’s what we love about him. In fact, a quick visit to his social networks turned up a few live covers, including a lovely cover of Ed Sheeran.
