“I’ve wanted to release a Christmas song for a long time” he shares with us. “A year ago, during the first snowfall, a melody suddenly came to me, along with the image of a snowflake floating down onto a rooftop. The idea stayed in a drawer for a few months until one day I envisioned a film to go along with it — and the song had to be completed”.
A successful comeback!
Nearly nine years after his last album release, Swiss singer-songwriter Moritz Schlanke returns with a heartwarming Christmas song. First recognized thanks to his hit “Good Girl” in 2008, the singer has been releasing albums ever since with the same passion. His latest album “Sunset Tales”, unveiled in 2016, reached the Top 100 of the Swiss album charts. Shortly afterwards, Moritz Schlanke has also performed as the lead singer of The Royal Rhythms, an authentic swing and jazz band, and has written and composed for numerous artists. With “It Feels Like Christmas”, he makes a successful comeback and leaves us wanting more… Will he be back soon with more music? We think so, so stay tuned…
