Night Train 357 has just unveiled his new video entitled “Battle Against Basic”, the first single of his new album entitled “Affirmations” coming this September. Set to a powerful hip-hop soundtrack produced by ADST Music, the Washington DC artist turns to his sharpest pen to deliver some funny, intelligently-written lyrics. With great humor, he addresses his community:
“Nine out of ten people can suffer from being basic. Symptoms may include pumpkin spice lattes, watching a movie on opening weekend, birthdays at Cheesecake Factory, making comments on social media after only reading the headline and not the article, going to Vegas and making a post that says, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” cargo shorts with no socks, wearing boat shoes with no boat; a sign in your home that says, “Live, Laugh, Love!” Don’t be Benny Basic. Seek help before it’s too late. Help us fight boring generic behavior wherever you see it. Battle against basic today”.
