In his new video, “Ahead Of You”, Julian Veliss has decided to leave behind all those pesky things that could prevent someone from moving forward: “People don’t accept the way you are, ’cause you are different from everyone”, he sings at the start of his track, before launching into “Spread your wings and start flying, leave everything that burdens you behind”. With his intoxicating pop-folk music, Julian Veliss invites us to let go and accept ourselves. Easier said than done, of course, but music makes everything easier, you’ll see… Directed by the artist himself, the clip perfectly illustrates the somewhat nostalgic mood of the track. With this latest clip, the Slovenian artist opens up and draws inspiration from his own history to deliver strong, universal messages. Where Julian Veliss feels most at home is on stage. That’s what we noticed when we took a look at his YouTube channel. In the course of a few videos, it became clear just how much he cares about the stage. One thing’s for sure: the young student has not finished making a name for himself. Plenty of new releases are expected over the next few months, and why not even a first project!
