At 27, Mondelia reminds us with energy that some things never age: childhood dreams and the desire to savor every moment. The track “27” is an ode to youth, spontaneity, and fleeting love, with its POP rock melody sweeping us into a whirlwind of lightness and nostalgia. “We’ll never be this young again, we’ll never be this dumb again”, she sings, capturing that subtle mix of maturity and carefreeness. The music video, directed by Mondelia herself, perfectly reflects this philosophy: from a serious meeting to playful childlike behavior, and then to moments of carefree fun outside the daily grind, we follow her through joyful and spontaneous adventures. It’s an irresistible invitation not to take life too seriously and to let yourself be carried away by fun and freedom, just like the song. Slash Music proudly presents this young artist who is already making waves.

Mondelia: from “Back” to “27,” a bold musical journey
Based in Oslo, Mondelia, law student by day, creator by night, began her artistic journey at the age of 5 with ballet and piano. By 12, she had swapped her tutu for street dance, funk, and self-taught guitar. Over the years, she has written hundreds of songs, many of which are still tucked away in folders, showcasing her prolific creativity. A true multi-talent, she travels extensively and shares her daily life, adventures, and inspirations on social media, immersing her fans in her colorful and lively universe.
After making a name for herself with her album Back, she now marks a new chapter with her 3-track EP, “27”, released on March 25, 2025, including “I don’t Know how to get over you,” “27,” and “Am I not the only one?” Each track, written with raw emotion and pop energy, reflects her sincere and dynamic world. With this new project, Mondelia asserts a unique style blending POP rock and pop punk, combining nostalgia and freshness.
