The video, directed by Amber Beaton, with puppets created and operated by Paul Lewis, who also worked on M3GAN, Sweet Tooth, and Minecraft, takes the absurdity up a notch: a plush toy shaped like, well, let’s say it’s suggestive, roams through gyms and strip clubs on a quest for meaning in its limp existence. Between awkward choreography and the disappointed gaze of a femme fatale, humor lands perfectly. Then comes the moment, a blue pill spotted in the corner.
