Get ready to enter the grandiose universe of a melodic metal band like no other…
Today we’re talking about Decay To Remain‘s new music video, “Set Me Free”. In no time at all, the band from Germany make their guitars scream, the drums strike like thunder, a perfect playground for the powerful voices of Giulia and Justus. With this track, the band takes us on a journey through what seems to be a toxic love affair, the kind of love story that can make you feel like you’re in prison: “Please set me free, for too much time I’ve been on my hands and knees” bears witness to this feeling of being locked up… But beyond their musical quality, it’s also their visual universe that has completely won us over. The electrifying clip gives us a taste of the band’s live energy, and is pure joy for us rock fans! Check out this new release on Slash Music.
“Please set me free, for too much time I’ve been on my hands and knees” – Decay To Remain
A band in its element once on stage.
As you’ve no doubt gathered by now, live performance is central to the soul of this musical project. On their Instagram page, the band posted a short extract from one of their recent concerts, and we got a big kick out of it! Very much at ease on stage, Decay To Remain take on a whole new dimension when they play live. Both singer Giulia‘s high/melodic vocals and shouter Justus’ gutturals really are weapons in their own right, while musicians Henrik, Chris, Sven, and Alex get the job done in style. This band has undeniable potential. We’re really looking forward to seeing them evolve over the coming months, which promises to be very exciting, don’t you think?
