A third single unveiled on June 14th.
MonkeyRat continues to make us vibrate with their new funky single entitled “Where’s the Peace ft. Ayi Solomon”, written by Anna Iachino, singer and songwriter of the band. And good news! It’s the first time that all the members of MonkeyRat, Arnold Ludvig from the Faroe Islands, Jens Stoklund from Denmark, Alain Apaloo from Togo, Anna Iachino from Canada (Italy), and special guest, Ayi Solomon from Ghana, have worked together on the music. For this song which Valera Iachino Durand has made the original artwork, Anna combined first-world Western music with third-world African music to create a more universal and percussive sound. The singer invites listeners to rally around a powerful message of unity: “The music is for all ages, young and old, from all over the world, in all languages, colors, and creeds. There’s children’s laughter in the song, a reminder that the sound of children’s laughter is only heard in times of peace. As human beings, we all share the same need to feel safe and free” Anna tells us in our recent interview. With this track that will definitely make you dance and smile, she gives us the power to change things so that peace can triumph everywhere in the world! Discover this new release now on Slash Music.
