Lavender Briggs began her basketball career at Maryland’s Mountain View High School, where she played for two seasons. Later, she transferred to Provo High School. Currently, she plays for the Maryland Terrapins. Lavender participated in a total of 37 games and scored 1,057 points during her high school career. It was her mother who guided her to improve her basketball skills. Throughout her basketball career, she has won numerous awards, including the SEC Freshman of the Week, All-SEC Freshman Team, SEC Player of the Week, and All-SEC Second Team. However, a foot injury (a fracture in her left tibia) sidelined her in February 2024, keeping her out for the last eight games of her second season.
