Love isn’t always a spectacular storm, sometimes, it’s a gentle warmth that settles in, a balance between being grounded and being set free. That’s exactly the tension CMD Maker captures in « Feelings », his brand new Afrobeats single that wraps around the listener like a tropical breeze on a July evening. Produced by Juach Juach, « Feelings » weaves African percussion with pop and R&B hues, crafting an atmosphere that is both rhythmic and sensuously soothing. CMD Maker doesn’t beat around the bush: « This feeling is taking over me », an irresistible attraction, the kind that makes you set your pride aside for the one you love. The music video for « Feelings », directed by Leo and CMD, has already surpassed 260,000 views in just a few days, sun-drenched beach scenes, genuine complicity, a romance as natural as the motion of the waves. Slash Music is thrilled to introduce you to CMD Maker, an artist who is more than worth your attention.

A Destiny Too Big for One Life
Before conquering playlists, CMD Maker, born Claudio Maker Ater Dak in May 1993 in Kitiri, Eastern Equatoria, has already lived a thousand lives. Raised between Nairobi, Kampala and Juba, he took his first steps in music in 2011, crafting a unique sound blending afrobeat with his native language Dinka. Moving to Australia in 2016, he stepped away from music for nearly eight years before making a powerful comeback with his debut album « I Am My Own Fan », released on August 18, 2024, followed by « Zaamandie » on June 27, 2025, featuring artist Khim Swaqq. The man who calls himself his own biggest fan now has a packed agenda: a lifestyle video featuring Papa Lee set for March 2, 2026, then the « Wonder Girl » video dropping April 13, 2026, with behind-the-scenes content already live on his social media for the curious ones. 2026 has barely begun, and CMD Maker already looks set to make it his year. The world better start paying attention.
